Abstract
Obstetrical patients presenting with acute or chronic hypertension usually do not develop myocardial ischemia or arrhythmias during cesarean section. We report a case of life-threatening ventricular tachycardia in a hypertensive patient secondary to documented amniotic fluid embolism during cesarean section under lumbar epidural analgesia.
